NATO delivers promised combat vehicles to Ukraine amidst escalating tensions with Russia.

NATO allies and partner countries have provided Ukraine with 98% of the promised combat vehicles, including 1,550 armoured vehicles and 230 tanks, to help it retake territory from Russian forces. More than 30,000 troops are estimated to make up the new brigades, and NATO member countries have also provided anti-aircraft systems and artillery. NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg emphasised the "unprecedented military support to Ukraine" but cautioned that "we should never underestimate Russia." He also said that a NATO summit in July in Lithuania would set out plans for a "multiyear programme of support" for Ukraine.
