North Korea-Russia and China flights resume, but North Korea cancels first post-Covid commercial flight

Flights between North Korea and Russia are set to resume for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic, with Air Koryo operating four flights between Pyongyang and Vladivostok this month. The two cities are about 680 km apart and are also connected by rail lines. North Korea sealed off the country during the pandemic, causing Russian diplomats to take drastic measures to leave their posts, including crossing the border via a hand-operated pushcart on railroad tracks. Traveling between Vladivostok and Pyongyang by plane takes one hour.
