"Putin Warns Poland: Aggression Against Belarus Equals Attack on Russia"

Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Poland of having territorial ambitions in the former Soviet Union and warned that any aggression against Belarus, a close ally of Russia, would be considered an attack on Russia itself. Putin stated that Moscow would respond to such aggression with all available means. This comes after Poland decided to move military units to its eastern border following the arrival of Russian Wagner mercenaries in Belarus. Putin also claimed that there were plans for a Polish-Lithuanian unit to be used in western Ukraine, which he alleged was part of a larger scheme to occupy territory. Poland denies any territorial ambitions in Belarus.
