Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) flanked by four Su-35 fighter jets, painted in the colors of the Russian flag. He met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss various issues, including the Israeli-Hamas war and their shared economic interests. Putin is now heading to Saudi Arabia to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. This visit comes despite an International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant seeking Putin's arrest for the deportation of Ukrainian children, highlighting the failure of Western allies to isolate him over the war in Ukraine.
