"Russia warns of 'colossal' risks if West supplies F-16s to Ukraine"

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko warned that Western countries would face "colossal risks" if they supply Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets, which Ukraine has been requesting from NATO countries. However, U.S. President Joe Biden told G7 leaders that Washington supports joint allied training programs for Ukrainian pilots on F-16s. Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Colonel Yuri Ignat said that F-16s could provide defensive cover in areas that were out of range of anti-aircraft missiles and could help in liberating occupied Ukrainian territories.
