Russia claims to have repelled Ukraine's long-anticipated counteroffensive in eastern Ukraine after three days of fighting, with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stating that the offensive attempts were thwarted and the enemy was stopped. Ukraine has not yet responded to the claims.
