Spanish PM urges China to discuss peace plan with Ukraine's Zelenskiy in Beijing.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez encouraged Chinese President Xi Jinping to talk to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and learn about Kyiv's peace formula to help end Russia's invasion. Sanchez also urged China to seek a more balanced economic relationship with Spain and called for greater transparency. Xi called for an end to "extreme" sanctions against Russia and for a balanced, effective, and sustainable European security architecture through dialogue and consultation.
