The Impact of Putin's Death on Russia and its Government

Oleksii Danilov, Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council, stated that while the death of Russian President Vladimir Putin may be desired by many, it will not be enough to bring about significant changes in Russia. Danilov emphasized that the deep-rooted issues within Russian society, such as a culture of hatred and inhumanity, will persist even after Putin's demise. He also highlighted Russia's diminishing status as a global player and predicted that the process of Russia's fragmentation, initiated by Putin's actions in Georgia and Ukraine, will continue to gain momentum.
