The Implications of an International Criminal Court Warrant on Putin.

Dmitry Medvedev, an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, warned that any attempt to arrest Putin after the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued a warrant for him would be a declaration of war against Russia. The ICC issued an arrest warrant accusing Putin of illegally deporting hundreds of children from Ukraine. Medvedev called the ICC a "legal nonentity" and said that all assets of Russia would fly to the Bundestag and Chancellor's office if Putin was arrested. The Kremlin called the ICC arrest warrant an outrageously partisan decision, but meaningless with respect to Russia.
