UK Expands Sanctions List to Target Entities Allegedly Involved in Ukraine War and Arms Deals

The UK has imposed sanctions on more than two dozen entities, including businesses and individuals in Turkey, the UAE, and Iran, for their alleged involvement in supporting Russia's access to foreign military supplies for its war against Ukraine. The sanctions target companies exporting microelectronics essential for Russia's military activities in Ukraine, as well as those supplying drones and drone components. The UK also took action against Iranian entities involved in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Belarusian military organizations and individuals from Slovakia and Switzerland were also sanctioned. The UK aims to diminish Russia's arsenal and close supply chains supporting its defense industry.
