Ukraine Acknowledges Slower Troop Advancement

Ukraine's counteroffensive to recapture territory from Russian forces in the east and south of the country is not progressing as quickly as anticipated, according to the head of the presidency, Andriy Yermak. While Western allies are not pressuring Ukraine to advance faster, they are offering assistance. Yermak emphasized that negotiations with Russia would only be considered after the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territory.
