Ukraine's Ministry of Defense rejected Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko's call for a truce between Russia and Ukraine, calling it "the most heinous offer ever made." The Ukrainian defense ministry claimed that Russian troops who committed war crimes in Bucha came from Belarus. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for justice for the victims of the Bucha massacre during the Bucha Summit, the first of its kind, dedicated to discussing ways to hold Russia accountable for their alleged war crimes.
