Ukraine's Escalating Conflict: Russian Forces Repelled and New Fronts Explored
TL;DR
Russian forces claim to have thwarted Ukrainian attempts to cross the Dnipro River in the Kherson region, stating that "sabotage and reconnaissance" teams were stopped near several villages. The Russian defense ministry also reported destroying Ukrainian personnel and equipment. Independent verification of these claims is not available. The Kherson region has been a site of ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, with Ukrainian forces recapturing parts of the region last year.
