Ukraine's Export Woes: China's Curbs Cause Concern

China's recent export restrictions on drones and related equipment have raised concerns for Ukraine, which is facing a conflict with Russia and losing around 10,000 drones per month. Many of these drones are commercially manufactured in China, and the availability of Chinese drones and components for Ukraine has diminished. The export restrictions, which came into effect on September 1st, apply to longer-range drones and related equipment. DJI, the world's largest commercial drone manufacturer from China, has suspended direct sales to both Russia and Ukraine. This has led to a decrease in the number of Chinese drones available to European distributors, further complicating Ukraine's drone supply.
