Ukraine's Need for a New Strategy: Plan C

As Ukraine's counteroffensive against Russian forces continues, the possibility of negotiations looms larger. However, there are concerns about the lack of progress on the ground and the absence of clear Ukrainian war aims. Western allies have been hesitant in providing full support, partly due to the fear of nuclear escalation and the belief that their own democratic destinies are not at stake. Meanwhile, Russian dissidents and some Western powers may see negotiations as a way to weaken Russia and distract the West. However, there are doubts about the effectiveness of negotiations with Putin, who has used talks in the past to stall and manipulate the situation.
