"Ukraine's ongoing conflict with Russia and China"
French President Emmanuel Macron and US President Joe Biden have agreed on the importance of engaging with China to end the conflict in Ukraine. Meanwhile, the US has authorized an additional $325 million in military aid for Ukraine, including ammunition for rocket launchers and anti-armor systems. The EU is preparing €100 million in compensation for farmers in five countries bordering Ukraine and plans to introduce restrictions on imports of Ukrainian grains. Russian mercenary boss Yevgeny Prigozhin has said it would be ideal for Moscow to declare an end to the war, while China has resolutely opposed US sanctions on Chinese firms over their alleged involvement with Russia.
