US Sends Nuclear Submarine to Middle East as Warning to Iran

The United States has deployed a guided missile submarine to the Middle East, as the Israel-Hamas conflict enters its one-month mark. The submarine, an Ohio-class vessel capable of carrying 154 Tomahawk missiles, was pictured traversing the Suez Canal. This move comes in response to Iranian Defense Minister Mohammad-Reza Ashtiani's warning to the Biden administration to call for a cease-fire. The US has also deployed aircraft carrier strike groups and special operations commandos to the region, aiming to deter further escalation and protect US interests. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is currently visiting the Middle East to negotiate peace, while CIA Director William Burns is meeting with Arab leaders to discuss intelligence agreements.
