Israeli Air Strikes Target Syrian Air Defense Battery

Israeli air strikes targeted an anti-aircraft battery near the city of Homs in Syria, in response to rocket fire from Syrian territory. Syrian state media reported that the strikes caused material losses and that Syrian air defenses intercepted some missiles. The Israeli army confirmed the strikes and stated that additional targets were also hit. Israel has frequently carried out air raids in Syria, primarily targeting Iran-backed forces, Hezbollah fighters, and Syrian army positions.
