Yemen’s Taiz push intensifies as Houthis strike Saudi Arabia

Yemen’s internationally recognized government says its forces have retaken western Taiz and are advancing after repelling a Houthi offensive, while the Houthis claim to have launched missiles and drones at targets in Saudi Arabia, including King Khalid airbase. Fighting also rages along the Red Sea coast and Bab al-Mandeb, driving large numbers of people from their homes, with the IOM reporting about 86,000 displaced in recent weeks (some crossing into Djibouti).
