Ukraine's New Drones and Taiwan's Denial of Sending Suicide Drones to Help Retake Crimea

Ukraine has announced the purchase of over 2,200 FPV kamikaze drones for combat, funded by private donations of nearly $1.6 million through a fundraising platform and the sale of Soledar-mined salt. The profits from the salt sales were sent to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine for the purchase of drones. Rozetka and Silpo helped cover the cost of the salt, meaning all profits could go toward financing the drones. The drones will perform reconnaissance and strike missions, guide artillery, help soldiers during urban battles, and save lives.
