NATO Allies Scramble Fighters to Intercept Russian Jets Near Estonia.

Norwegian F-35 fighter jets intercepted two Russian warplanes, a Su-24 and a MiG-31, outside Norwegian airspace north of Finnmark. The interceptions are becoming more frequent due to rising regional tensions. Meanwhile, the German and British air forces conducted their first coordinated interception of a Russian aircraft close to NATO airspace. The interceptions are part of the NATO member states' rotational four-month Baltic air policing mission.
