Russian Border Regions and Belarus Face Threat of 17,000 Enemy Troops.

Russian occupying forces have amassed about 17,000 troops in the southern part of Belarus and in Russia’s Bryansk and Kursk regions for operations in the northern direction, according to Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Russian contingent in Belarus totals about 2,800 people. The situation in the area is controlled by the Defense Forces of Ukraine, but the enemy continues to systematically shell the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions with artillery and conduct aerial reconnaissance.
