US Air Force bolsters arsenal with bunker-busting bombs in response to Iran tensions.

The US military has armed a squadron of A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft with "bunker busting" bombs in response to increasing aggression from Iran, including rocket attacks on US forces in Syria and the recent seizure of a foreign vessel. The warthogs are each capable of carrying approximately 16 bunker busters. The Biden administration has also sanctioned Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps intelligence organization for wrongfully detaining Americans. Iran has renewed threats to target former President Donald Trump and top members of his former Cabinet.
