The Russian media reported that Prigozhin met with Putin after the failed coup attempt last month, but he has since remained out of the public eye. Putin has faced allegations of poisoning political rivals in the past, including the poisoning of former spy Sergei Skripal and opposition figure Alexei Navalny.
