Finland has announced the expulsion of nine Russian embassy staff for acting in an "intelligence capacity," which violates the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The decision was based on the assessment of the Finnish Security Intelligence Service (SUPO). The relationship between the two countries has deteriorated following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, prompting Finland to apply to NATO and become a member in April.
