Iran holds US accountable for any terrorist activity.

Iran's top human rights official, Kazem Gharibabadi, has accused the United States of being "directly" responsible for any act of terror, claiming that Washington created many terrorist groups, including al-Qaeda, Daesh, and al-Nusra. Gharibabadi said the US and its Western allies hatched a plot after the victory of the Islamic Revolution to "disintegrate various parts of the country by creating terrorist groups." He also criticized the US for imposing "illegal unilateral" sanctions on Iran, which he called a humanitarian crime against the Iranian nation.
