The Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel, Yevgen Kornichuk, will be reprimanded by the Foreign Ministry for releasing a statement opposing Israel's policy on the war in Ukraine. The statement came after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explained why Israel does not provide military aid to Ukraine. Kornichuk pointed out that Ukraine never asked Israel to provide anti-tank systems and that Israel's decision not to provide weapons is just to please the Russians. The Ukrainian embassy criticized Israel's "near absence" of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and its "pro-Russian position."
