Israeli and Palestinian officials hold talks in Egypt.

Israeli and Palestinian Authority officials are meeting in Egypt for talks aimed at maintaining "calm" during Ramadan and facilitating the resumption of the peace process. The meeting is being attended by US, Jordanian, and Egyptian officials. The talks come amid criticism and calls for a boycott by Palestinian political parties, except for Fatah which runs the PA.
