Yevgeny Prigozhin, the former Putin confidant who led a rebellion against the Russian government, announced a negotiated settlement that would allow him to walk away peacefully. However, the Russian authorities leaked that the agreement was already broken, and Putin confirmed that the "organizers of this rebellion" would "be brought to justice."
