Russian President Vladimir Putin met with pro-Kremlin war bloggers and self-styled “war correspondents” and made remarks about Russia's invasion of Ukraine, stating that the aims of the special operation won't change. Putin also claimed that Russia was forced to defend the people of Donbas and that Ukraine's defense industry will soon cease to exist. He also discussed the recent Ukrainian counteroffensive and Russia's losses, as well as the protection of Moscow from drone attacks. Putin threatened to set up a "cordon sanitaire" in Ukraine if strikes continue and declared that there's no need for martial law or another wave of mobilization in Russia.
