Putin's Spokesman's Son Joins Wagner Mercenaries in Ukraine

Nikolai Peskov, the son of Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, has revealed that he served in Ukraine under an assumed name as an artilleryman in the Wagner mercenary force. He said he had served out his contract for a little under half a year and received a medal for bravery. Wagner's founder, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said Dmitry Peskov had approached him and asked him to take his son on as a simple artilleryman. Dmitry Peskov was sanctioned by the United States shortly after the war began along with his wife and two adult children, Nikolai and Elizaveta.
