Syria readmitted to Arab League as relations with Assad improve.

The Arab League has readmitted Syria as a member after a 12-year suspension, with 13 of the 22 member states endorsing the decision. The move comes as the conflict in Syria continues to de-escalate, and ahead of the upcoming Arab League Summit in Saudi Arabia. The decision includes a commitment to ongoing dialogue to reach a political solution to the conflict, in line with UN Security Council Resolution 2254.
