162-Year-Old Guinness Bottled Treasure Recovered From Dover Shipwreck

A 162-year-old bottle of Guinness, dating to 1864, was recovered from a shipwreck off Dover by Belgian diver Stefan Panis. The find is being analyzed by researchers at KU Leuven, with hopes of understanding its taste and potentially recreating the 1860s stout, and there may be more bottles buried in the wreck; Diageo’s Guinness Archive is coordinating the investigation.
