Kuwait introduces AI-generated news presenter.

Kuwait News, an affiliate of the Kuwait Times, has introduced an AI-generated virtual news presenter named Fedha. The presenter, who appears as an image of a woman with light-coloured hair, is designed to test AI's potential to offer "new and innovative content". Fedha may develop to have a Kuwaiti accent and read online news bulletins. This move follows China's state news agency unveiling its own virtual newsreader in 2018.
