Unprecedented Summer Hailstorm Blankets German City in Snow
TL;DR
Snowplows were deployed in the German city of Reutlingen after a severe hailstorm covered parts of the city with up to 30 centimeters (12 inches) of ice. The storm caused flooding in underground car parks, basements, and residential buildings. Emergency teams worked to clear the ice, and the Echaz River briefly burst its banks but did not cause major damage.
