"Protecting Palestinian Children's Education: Urgent Action Needed in Gaza"

Israel's military assault on Gaza has devastated the educational infrastructure, with hundreds of schools, including UN-run ones, being bombed and destroyed, leaving over 625,000 students and 22,500 teachers out of school. Additionally, all 12 higher education institutions in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed, disrupting university education. The war has resulted in the deaths of thousands of students, teachers, and professors, and it remains uncertain when students in Gaza will be able to return to school amidst ongoing conflict and challenges with implementing e-learning.
