Tragic Gaza Airdrop: 5 Killed as Aid Package Parachute Fails
TL;DR
At least five people were killed and 10 others injured in Gaza when airdropped aid packages fell on them in the Al Shati camp, with the US and other countries conducting air drops amid warnings of famine in the besieged enclave. Aid agencies have criticized the airdrops as ineffective, and Palestinians in northern Gaza are struggling to make use of the aid, calling for items that can be stored and used over several days rather than single portions.
