Spotify’s 2026 Feature Rollout Expands How You Listen
Spotify has rolled out nine notable features in 2026, from social listening with Listening Activity and co-listening via Request To Jam to smarter homepages with Taste Profile, and stronger artist protection with the Verified Badge and Artist Profile Protection. Other updates include new video controls for music and podcasts, the Prompted Playlist generator, fitness content through Fitness with Spotify with Peloton, and new ad formats like Sponsored Playlists and Carousel Ads, with access for both Basic and Premium users and more updates on the way.
