Rayman Legends Retold Brings 3D Flair to a Beloved 2D Classic
Ubisoft announces Rayman Legends Retold, a 3D remake of 2013’s Rayman Legends that preserves the original’s 2D gameplay feel while adding updated 3D visuals powered by the Snowdrop engine. The remake uses a 2.5D presentation with parallax depth, includes 1–4 player couch co-op, dragon‑riding levels, returning characters plus new content, and a new villain, all while keeping the core gameplay intact. It launches October 1, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC, with additional music levels and developer insights teased in Game Informer.
