Leaked 3DMark scores suggest Pixel 11 Pro's Tensor G6 GPU lags behind predecessors and rivals
A leaked 3DMark Wild Life Extreme benchmark for the Pixel 11 Pro suggests the new Tensor G6 chip's GPU performance is significantly weaker than the previous generation and far behind Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The test, conducted on a retail display unit, scored 2,653 points, trailing the Tensor G5 by 21% and the Snapdragon rival by nearly 2.7 times. While earlier Geekbench Compute leaks showed the Tensor G6's GPU outperforming its predecessor in OpenGL tasks, the 3DMark results highlight a persistent gap in raw gaming performance compared to competing flagship silicon. Experts caution that the uncontrolled retail environment likely affected thermal throttling, making the data a single unverified point rather than a definitive measure of retail unit performance.
