NATO is set to conduct its largest-ever air drills near Ukraine and Russia, involving more than 4,000 personnel and dozens of aircraft from 20 countries. The exercises, which will take place from August 30 to September 16, are aimed at improving interoperability among NATO allies and partners, but are likely to be seen as a show of force amid tensions with Russia over Ukraine.
