Sharks lock in Nedeljkovic on a 2-year, $6M deal
The San Jose Sharks announced a two-year, $6 million contract extension for goalie Alex Nedeljkovic ($3 million AAV). At 30, he has appeared in 26 games for San Jose this season (11-9-2, 2.83 GAA, .902 SV%) and recently posted a strong stretch (6-1-0 in eight games). Across 205 NHL games with Carolina, Detroit, Pittsburgh and San Jose, he is 85-69-29 with a 2.97 GAA and .903 SV% and nine shutouts; his standout rookie season (2020-21) included leading the league in GAA and save percentage, All-Rookie Team honors, and Calder voting.
