Ridley Scott Aims a Third Alien Prequel Centered on David
Ridley Scott has announced plans for a third Alien prequel focused on Michael Fassbender’s David, the Covenant android, promising a new arc for the AI. He also has The Dog Stars opening Friday and will shoot Treasure Island with Hugh Jackman afterward, and he’ll receive an honorary Oscar in November; Scott adds that AI can be dangerous and, while he hasn’t used AI in his filmmaking yet, he’s aware of its potential.
