Ricky Gervais unveiled Netflix’s adult animated series Alley Cats at the Annecy International Animation Festival, receiving a hero’s welcome in a packed Bonlieu theatre and a birthday serenade as he previewed the first two episodes. The show follows Gus, a ginger tomcat, and a crew of stray British cats, with a domesticated cat named Ponce joining their daily musings on life… from cat etiquette to mortality.
