Draw to own a $1M Picasso: raffle tickets cost about $116
Pablo Picasso’s 1941 gouache “Tête de Femme” (valued at around $1 million) is being offered in the charity campaign “1 Picasso for 100 euros,” where each ticket costs 100 euros (about $116). 120,000 tickets are available, with the winner drawn on April 14. Proceeds go to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation across Europe. The piece was donated by Opera Gallery, and Picasso’s grandson Olivier Widmaier Picasso says the work is undervalued and that the winner can keep, display, or resell it.
