Framework announced that pre-orders for its small-form-factor desktop featuring the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495 processor will begin on September 30, 2026. The device retains the existing chassis and motherboard design to ensure backward compatibility, though it supports up to 192 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 memory, an increase from the previous 128 GB limit. While pricing has not been disclosed, the unit is expected to cost more than the current Ryzen AI Max+ 395 model. The system continues to offer Fedora or Windows 11 pre-built options and maintains support for standard Flex ATX power supplies and various cooling solutions.
