Paramount+ has released the trailer for Golden Axe, an adult animated comedy based on Sega’s 1989 beat-'em-up, with Matthew Rhys voicing Gilius Thunderhead alongside Danny Pudi, Lisa Gilroy and Liam McIntyre. Co-created by Mike McMahan and Joe Chandler, the series follows Ax Battler, Tyris Flare and Gilius as they unite to defeat Death Adder and debuts Sept. 16 on Paramount+.
