Stallone Embraces 'I Play Rocky' Biopic After Initial Skepticism
Sylvester Stallone has publicly endorsed the upcoming biopic 'I Play Rocky,' admitting that while he initially felt the project was premature, he was impressed by Anthony Ippolito's portrayal of his younger self. Speaking at a 92NY event promoting his new memoir, 'The Steps,' Stallone noted that he had no official involvement in the film but appreciated the accuracy of the performance. He also discussed his desire to recut the 1990 film 'Rocky V' and expressed skepticism about replicating classic Hollywood success in today's industry.
