Ukraine's Drone Warfare Escalates Against Russia
Cheap drones rigged with explosives have become the main anti-tank weapon for Ukraine in its war against Russia. These low-cost attack drones, operated remotely with first-person-view (FPV) technology, have been destroying Russian tanks and armored vehicles on the battlefield. The use of these unmanned aerial vehicles has had a significant psychological impact on targets, as they are difficult to detect and can strike with precision. While both sides are utilizing these drones, Ukraine has demonstrated better top-level support for their production, training over 10,000 new drone pilots this year.
