An architect argues the White House ballroom is too large, as a second National Capital Planning Commission panel prepares to vote on the project ahead of a March 5 hearing.
Acclaimed architect David Adjaye has stepped back from several positions following accusations of sexual harassment and misconduct reported by The Financial Times. Three former employees accused Adjaye and his firm of exploitation, including sexual assault and harassment, as well as a toxic work culture. Adjaye denied the allegations but admitted to blurring boundaries between his professional and personal life. He resigned as an architectural adviser to the mayor of London and his work on a British Holocaust memorial was suspended. Adjaye's renowned projects include the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.
